The SPIE Student Chapter of University of Trento and the local section of AISF are organizing an event on the occasion of the International Day of Light, to be held on 14 May.
The program includes:
- Technical Seminar: A talk by Dr. Giovanni Donati (Institute of Photonics, University of Strathclyde, UK) on “Photonic-electronic spiking neurons”, focusing on recent developments relevant to the photonic community.
- Evening Talk: An accessible overview on neuromorphic photonics, including an overview of the field and selected applications in telecommunications. This event is part of the ongoing “Beer & Physics” series.
